Breaking News says that PSL matches will be held behind close doors from Friday 13th March 2020.
According to details, Sindh Govt ban the crowd and ordered PCB to conduct the PSL matches in Karachi behind close doors. It was done as precautionary step to avoid corona virus to be spread.
Chief minister Sindh Murad Ali Shah says that matches from tomorrow will be conducted in front of empty stadiums. He further said that we are conducting the matches but we cannot afford any further risks.
Murad Ali Shah further added that the match will happen but the spectators will not be allowed to enter.
The match between Peshawar Zalmi and Multan Sultans will be played behind close doors without any crowd.
Chief Executive of PCB Wasim Khan says that cricket always prefer health and safety, PCB wants to protect all players, Service providers and security people.
Wasim Khan said that PCB took advice of the Sindh Govt seriously.
Now they have decided to conduct the matches behind close doors in front of empty national stadium.
He further said that he understands the feelings of Karachi Fans. The people of Karachi played vital role in success of PSL. But the safety comes first.
He further said that PCB is completely in touch with the players and team and they are informed about the situation.
LAHORE MATCHES BEHIND CLOSE DOORS?
On question about matches in Lahore, he said that they are in contact with Punjab Govt. Whatever will be the instructions, We will follow.
He said that people of Karachi can enjoy the matches on TV and they should not worry about the tickets refund. Their tickets will be refunded according to the refund policy of PCB.
